Just wondering if there is a way to achieve the following for some console applications we have:
Open C:\a.exe in a new tab called "Prog 1"
Open C:\b.exe in a new tab called "Prog 2"
Open C:\c.exe in a new tab called "Prog 3"

etc....

I know I can achieve this manually by opening a new tab and entering in the path for the exe file but it would be great to have it as an automated task as it is something we do quite regularly.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Paul

Hi,

I really can't think of a way to do it with the current release, unless.. you could maybe try something like this:

- define each of the separate exes as a command within PromptPal
- set PromptPal to single window (tabbed) mode
- write a .vbs script that sends each of the commands to PromptPal via the command line (ie. launches PromptPal with the appropriate newly defined command)

Not something I've tried, but it might work!
