Software to make life easier

New releases, and a note about PromptPal upgrades

August 3rd, 2007 by Paul Roberts

We’ve made a couple of early bug-fix releases:

ColorCache 4.0.0.1 - this fixes a couple of potential problems with the registration process

PTFB Pro 3.3.6 - this fixes the Forced Delay macro item, which was broken on XP and earlier by a previous release. Vista users were not affected by this. Actually, I’m seriously considering making PTFB Pro default to the “Vista” method of recording and playing back macros when running on XP, as it seems to be generally more robust and would allow mousewheel and extra mouse button actions to be recorded.

Finally, a quick note about PromptPal. Starting at version 1.5.5.0, we switched to a different registration system, which uses different license keys. If you’re a licensed user and you upgrade to 1.5.5.0 or
better, PromptPal will try to get you a fresh license key automatically. However, this only happens if PromptPal sees the old-style key on your system. If you’re installing the latest PromptPal
onto a fresh new system then you may not get the new key automatically. If that happens, just send us a quick email (support@promptpal.com) we’ll send your new code out to you.
